The wine has a cherry red colour with a ruby edge. Beautiful sweet nose of vanilla and toasted oak notes from the 12 months ageing in American oak. Ripe black-cherry flavour mingles with coconut in this full-bodied, lavishly oaked, fairly dry red wine.
It has a rich, almost chewy texture, lots of fine-grained tannins for grip and structure yet a smooth and velvety mouthfeel and potent fruit concentration that powers through the finish.
