Fragrance: It has a complex and articulated fruity and spicy flavor, which reminds little red fruits. It offers also flowery suggestions of withered rose and violet, charming notes of spices like cinnamon and pepper, cacao, tobacco, leather and many others.
Flavor: At palate it can be appreciated for its alcoholic vein and tenacity, later it spreads its more refined side, giving good tasting sensations which confirm what had been felt at nose; above all it results a severe and full-bodied wine, balanced by pleasant sensations of refinement and softness, before slowly taking leave with a persistent and harmonic ending.
Food Pairings: This sumptuous wine is linked with the gastronomic tradition of Piemonte, which is intense and rich of flavors and tastes: from white truffle of Alba to braised meat and “bagna caoda”, but it is able to stay on worlds table, always with elegance.
