Is Arenas is vinified from grapes from the island of Sant’Antioco, at sea level, from vineyards on sandy soils. It is precisely the characteristic of the land that prevented the development of phylloxera on the island, so as to allow the cultivation of Carignano ungrafted, that is, without rootstock.

The manual harvest is followed by delicate processes to maintain the very high quality of the grapes during winemaking. A long aging, skillfully combining wood, concrete and bottle, smooths out the tannins making this wine soft and round.
