Color: At sight it has a characteristic ruby red color when young (verging on garnet red after some time).
Fragrance: At nose fruity notes of cherry, plum and dark berries stand out and later evolve in jam and fruit in alcohol aromas, so with balsamic, spicy and sometimes flowery notes.
Flavour: Warm and intensive sensations give this Barbera of Piemonte a balanced and good structure. It has soft tannins and an elegant final.
Food Pairings: It is a perfect pairing for rabbit dishes, delicate cheeses, mousses and chocolate cakes, nevertheless also with tasty soups. We are dealing with a wine to drink in short time, so a long aging is to avoid. For a good preservation the bottles should stay in dry rooms, at ambient temperature.
Serving Temperature: This wine has to be served at 16°-18° C.
